Teaching Notes

This dance is double length. Make sure the musicians know the tune is played two full times.

A1/A2-1: The crossover hey starts with a cross each time, but is a mirror hey on successive passes (i.e., other couples do not cross and ones do not cross when meeting at the bottom) A1/A2-2: This country corners sequence has to be gotten into in an unusual way because the 1s start at the top, but by the time they get to their second corners, it should feel like a normal country corners. Maybe start by having the 1s identify both their corners on the same side of the set.
